I have been enjoying practicing astro-photography through the years, and for the first time I have decided to share a few on the site.
For me, there is a deep reverential experience in capturing these images and therefore these are very personal in their memory, but I am happy now to offer them for others to see. When conditions are right it is an amazing and uplifting experience to spend time looking at the edge of the Milky Way.
Of course the trick of finding the Milky Way at it's peak and capturing a good astro-shot is finding a place with absence of ...or at least very limited man-made light on the horizon. It's remarkable how elusive this is even in the most remote places...
So that said, I am excited and looking forward to keeping this gallery active and adding new work from quiet places from around the globe whenever I can find myself in one. Thanks for looking... enjoy.
